A shocking case of kidnapping has come to light in Hyderabad. Here a woman kidnapped a TV anchor while trying to marry him. However, later the police arrested the accused woman.

News agency PTI quoted the police as saying that the woman is a businesswoman, who runs a company related to digital marketing. Police said that two years ago the woman had seen the TV anchor’s photo on a matrimony website.

Fake account was created on matrimony website

After this a conversation started between the woman and the person calling himself a TV anchor. However, it was later revealed that the person with whom the woman was talking was not a TV anchor. Rather, her photographs have been misused on the matrimony website and the person communicating was someone else.

Harassed even after knowing the truth

However, despite all this, the woman contacted the anchor through the messaging app. The TV anchor told that she was talking to an unknown person, who had created a fake account by misusing her photo and she has also lodged a complaint in this regard at the cyber crime police station.

Car tracking device

Police said that even after finding out the truth, the woman continued sending messages to the anchor. The woman allegedly followed the TV anchor and also installed a tracking device on the anchor’s car to keep an eye on his movements.

The anchor was adamant on getting married

Police said that the woman was adamant on marrying the anchor and even hired four people to kidnap the anchor. Police said that the woman carefully planned her kidnapping so that she could solve the case.

TV anchor was kidnapped on 11th February

According to the police, on February 11, four men hired by the woman kidnapped the victim and took him to the woman’s office, where they beat him severely. Police said that out of fear the TV anchor agreed to talk to the woman. Only after this he was allowed to go.

Later the victim lodged a complaint at Uppal police station. At the same time, the police have arrested the accused woman and the four people who kidnapped her. At present further action is going on.
