A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee was held in the Assembly on Tuesday. In which it was decided that the department wise budget would be discussed on 29th February. The budget will be passed on March 1, 2024. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Premchand Aggarwal, members Khajan Das and Umesh Sharma were present in the meeting. Whereas from the opposition, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya, Congress MLA Pritam Singh, BSP MLA Mohammad Shehzad did not attend the meeting.
The budget was first presented in the Uttarakhand Assembly on Tuesday. After this, five bills including the Uttarakhand Private University (Amendment) Bill were introduced in the House, while after approval from Raj Bhavan, 13 bills have become laws.
