World of flowers decorated in Uttarakhand Raj Bhavan, 15 main competitions will be held in the three-day event
The three-day Vasanthotsav began at Raj Bhavan from Friday. Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Seni) inaugurated the Vasanthotsav. On Thursday, special vehicles were sent for its promotion. Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Seni) said, Thuner has been selected for the special postal cover this year.
The first promotional vehicle will travel across the entire Dehradun city including Dehradun to Selaqui and the second from Dehradun to Doiwala, giving information to the people about the flower exhibition. Appealing to the participation of more and more people in the Spring Festival, the Governor said, come in large numbers and enjoy the flower exhibition, competitions and cultural programs here.
In the three-day event, there are a total of 53 sub-categories in the category of 15 main competitions, in which the participants who get first, second and third category will be rewarded. In this way, a total of 159 awards will be given on March 3 after the decision of the jury.
