Uttarakhand: CM Dhami reached Vasantotsav, inspected the stalls

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami returned to Dehradun on Friday after completing election meetings in Delhi. After reaching Dehradun, CM reached the Vasanthotsav organized at Raj Bhavan. CM Dhami inspected the stalls decorated for Vasant Utsav for a long time.

CM Dhami reached Vasantotsav

As soon as Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived for the spring festival, small children came to meet him. CM Dhami first talked to one child and other children also reached there. CM Dhami posed for photographs with the children. After this he proceeded towards the stalls of Vasanthotsav organized at Raj Bhavan. Self-employed entrepreneurs had their stalls beautifully decorated at Raj Bhavan.

The food stalls impressed CM Dhami a lot. While inspecting Pahari organic products, the CM also tasted them. CM was also seen taking information about the products from the stall owners. At the stall where he saw products of mountain fruits or grains, he definitely tasted those products. After this, CM Dhami also posed for photographs with the people who came to the Vasanthotsav.

Vasantotsav will last for 3 days

It is noteworthy that the 3-day Vasanthotsav, which started from Friday at Uttarakhand Raj Bhavan, was inaugurated by the Governor, retired Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh. During the inauguration, the Governor told that Thuner has been selected for the special postal cover this year. CM Dhami also got his picture clicked at the postal cover site.

Participants will get prizes

There are 15 main categories of competitions in Vasanthotsav. There are also a total of 53 sub-categories in it. When the 3-day Vasantotsav concludes, first, second and third prizes will be awarded. The prize distribution will take place on March 3. Along with this, promotional vehicles have also left for the flower show. These vehicles will travel from Dehradun to Selaqui, Dehradun to Doiwala and the entire Dehradun city to give information to the people about the flower exhibition.
