Russia-Ukraine War: Russia refuses to hold peace talks with Zelensky, Putin’s close friend said – Ukraine is part of Russia

Dmitry Medvedev, an ally of President Vladimir Putin and vice chairman of the Russian Security Council, on Monday ruled out peace talks with the current Ukrainian leadership. Also said that Ukraine is a part of Russia. In southern Russia, Medvedev said Russia would continue its special military operation until the other side surrenders. He said that the historical part of Russia should return home.

Medvedev said that one of Ukraine’s former leaders had at some point said that Ukraine is not Russia. That concept should be abolished forever. Ukraine is definitely Russia. He refused peace talks with the current Ukrainian leadership led by President Volodymyr Zelensky. Commenting on East-West relations, he said that relations between Moscow and Washington are worse than the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.

Recording showing plans to attack Russian territory leaked

Purported recordings of German military discussions show Germany’s armed forces were discussing plans to attack Russian territory, the Kremlin said on Monday. He questioned whether Chancellor Olaf Scholz had control of the situation. Regarding this, Russia summoned the German Ambassador on Monday. In fact, in a 38-minute recording leaked on internet media, military officials are discussing how the long-range cruise missile Taras could be used by Kiev against Russian forces.

German officials are investigating the recording

Four officials, including Germany’s air force chief Ingo Gerhartz, can be heard discussing the TARS deployment. It added that prompt delivery and rapid deployment of Taras is possible only with the help of German troops.
