Madhya Pradesh: A 150 year old treasure from the British era was found in Gwalior, there was a race to loot it; There was a lot of fighting too

The news of finding treasure in a locality of Gwalior created a stir in the area. According to the information, people even fought among themselves to take this treasure. Police arrived after receiving information. When the police reached the spot and pacified the matter, they were able to recover 7 silver coins from the people present there. According to the police, the matter is still under investigation.

The foundation was being excavated

Actually, a person named Harish Singh Baghel bought a plot in Khallasipura locality of Inderganj police station area. The work of building a house was going on on this very plot for which the foundation was being excavated in the ground. While the workers were doing digging work, a worker noticed the silver coins stuck in the ground and he jumped to collect them. Seeing this, other workers also ran in this direction. There was a dispute among the workers regarding the distribution of coins. Some people reached there to resolve the dispute. Then the workers ran from the spot.

The neighbor also washed his hands

According to the information, when the workers started running away separately after taking the coins, a neighbor also caught some of the workers and made them clean the coins found in the excavation. When the police got information about this, they picked up some laborers from their hideout and also their neighbours. Police say that everyone is being interrogated and conclusions will be drawn soon. The team of Archeology Department has also reached the spot. Let us tell you that this plot belongs to Harish Singh Baghel whose family had purchased this plot from Prince Pal many years ago.

The coins are approximately 150 years old

According to landowner Harish Singh Baghel, about 35 to 40 coins were found from the ground which were scattered on the spot and the workers also fled from the spot, but he was not present there at that time. The police have so far been able to recover only 7 coins. The coins recovered by the police are said to be about 150 years old and of different years. These coins are said to be from the year 1885 and have Victoria’s signature on them.

Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
