Uttarakhand / Rishikesh: Elephant attacked driver, injured, died during treatment
In Rishikesh, an elephant fatally attacked a vehicle driver and injured him. The driver died during treatment. It is being told that the deceased person is a resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh.
Elephant attacked the driver
The incident is being reported at 5.30 am on Tuesday. In Rishikesh, an elephant attacked a Max vehicle near Moni Baba Tirahe on the Hill Bypass Road in Lakshman Jhula area of police station. In which the driver was injured. With the help of local people, the injured person was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Driver died during treatment
The person died during treatment. The deceased has been identified as Satendra alias Sonu, resident of Payal Colony, Bijnor. It is being told that Satendra Neelkanth was going towards Mahadev to drop the passengers. Meanwhile, the elephant attacked the vehicle near the intersection.
