The second board meeting of Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board (UIIDB) was held at the Secretariat on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. During the meeting, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave instructions to speed up all the schemes being run under UIIDB. CM Dhami also said that the appointment process should be started as soon as possible on the sanctioned posts for the functioning of the board. The CM instructed the officials to bring the proposal related to implementing the service sector policy in the state in the upcoming cabinet meeting.

While giving instructions to the officers during the meeting, the CM said that in order to speed up the work, they should take decisions at the department level on all the issues except policy matters and complete the work as soon as possible. First, special attention should be given to public importance and immediate schemes. Also, focus should be on their implementation. So that its results can be revealed. Apart from this, the CM also asked the Secretary of Tourism and Civil Aviation to prepare an action plan for the possibility of night landing of planes in Jolly Grant, Pantnagar and Naini Saini. Like Uttarakhand Chardham, the plans for beautification of Manaskhand temple chains should also be worked on expeditiously. gave instructions.

In fact, after the completion of Manaskhand Temple Mala Mission, a large number of tourists will come to the state throughout the year. Along with this, efforts should also be made to identify the state as a wedding destination and the focus should be on identifying various places and developing infrastructure facilities in those areas. During the meeting, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that keeping in view the residential infrastructure, he also gave instructions to speed up the proposals of identified redevelopment schemes, development of Haridwar-Rishikesh Ganga Corridor, Sharda Corridor, two new townships and Kainchi Dham project. . CM Dhami also said that the results of the objectives for which UIIDB has been formed should be visible on the ground as soon as possible in the interest of the state.
