Uttarakhand: CM Dhami visits Haldwani, lays foundation stone of Kathgodam bus terminal, gifts worth crores to Nainital

CM Dhami was on Haldwani tour today. Here CM Dhami laid the foundation stone and inaugurated many schemes in Kathgodam. CM Dhami laid the foundation stone of the bus terminal in Kathgodam. Along with this, CM Dhami gifted development works worth Rs 778 crore to Nainital district.
CM Dhami has given the gift of driving school in Gaulapar, beautification of Naina Devi temple, construction of tube well, beautification of roads and two big sewerage schemes of Haldwani and Lalkuan. During this, Union Minister of State and Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt was also present in the program. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also addressed the public meeting. In which he enumerated the schemes of the Central and State Government. CM Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has immense love for Uttarakhand. From time to time, Prime Minister Modi keeps gifting schemes to Uttarakhand.
During Haldwani tour, CM Dhami inaugurated 86 works. Whose cost is Rs 8931.59 lakh (89.31 crore). Whereas, if we talk about foundation stone laying, CM Dhami laid the foundation stone of 73 works. Whose cost is Rs 68883.07 lakh (688.83 crore). In this way, CM Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 159 works costing Rs 77,814.66 lakh (778.14 crore).
Government Ayurvedic Hospitals Ayurvedic hospitals have been constructed in remote areas like Kasiyalekh, Naukuchiatal, Wardho. With this, the people of the state living in remote areas will now easily get the benefits of AYUSH medical system. Tube wells have been constructed in areas like Rooppur, Haripur Nayak, Peepal Pokhara, Songaon, Haida Gajjar of Lal Kuan Assembly, Bajunia Haldu, Haldu Chaud Jeram, Maldhanchaur in Assembly Ramnagar etc. of Kaladhungi Assembly. Due to which new irrigation capacity is being created in 458 hectares and irrigation capacity is being recreated in 164 hectares area. Under drinking water schemes, about 5654 families are being benefited from drinking water through 68 schemes.
Driving training school is being established in Gaula Rokhad area at a cost of Rs 2293.14 lakh. With this, the people of Kumaon region will get a lot of facilities in training there. Bus Terminal: Bus terminal will be constructed in Kathgodam at a cost of Rs 6728 lakh. Tube Well: 105 irrigation tube wells will be established in Lal Kuan. Schemes worth Rs 1956 lakh will be made for the improvement and beautification of internal roads of Nainital city. Under Manas Khand Mandir Mala Mission, beautification and improvement work of Maa Naina Devi Temple will be done with Rs 1101.61 lakh.
Road construction and improvement
Reconstruction of Mallaramgarh-Supi-Lodia, Hartola-Satpuli motor road, Ranibagh-Saur, Maldhan-Kilavali, Koshawala-Kaladhungi, Amgadi-Patkot, Rani Kota by the Public Works Department. Road safety and improvement work, construction work of various motor roads including Saud, Ramnagar – Betalghat – Vishal Kot, Garjia – Betalghat – Mukteshwar. Construction work of bridge over Shipra river and Hathi Dangar Kania drain on Bhawali bypass and asphalting work on various roads including Sanatorium Almora motor road. Two sewage schemes will be constructed in Haldwani and Lal Kuan at a total cost of Rs 3285.46 lakh. Due to which 9513 families will get sewerage facility.
Irrigation Department
9 schemes worth Rs 2039.72 were constructed for the revitalization and improvement of canals in Kota Bagh and Koshya Kotli including Mansa Devi Canal, Jassa Ganja Canal, Chilkia Canal, Belgarh Canal, Kaladhungi Canal.
