Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today performed the virtual bhumi pujan of the science center being built in Champawat at a cost of Rs 55 crore 53 lakh. The construction of this center will help the students in studies and research. Apart from this, in view of the increasing drug addiction in the mountains, the CM also inaugurated a drug de-addiction center in Champawat. Let us tell you that this science center of Champawat is going to be the third science center in the state after Dehradun and Almora. Soon the country’s 5th Science City will be built in Dehradun.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this science center will prove to be a milestone in the development of our ideal Champawat. Our government is continuously making efforts to make Uttarakhand an excellent state in the field of science and technology. He said that programs are being organized continuously through UCOST, the nodal institution of the state, for the promotion of science, technology and innovation in the state.

Chief Minister approves mobile science lab

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Chief Minister Mobile Science Lab has also been approved. Under which, in the first phase, labs will soon be established in four districts. He said that in every block of the state, the subjects of science, technology, technology and mathematics will be taught in interesting ways according to the ability and interest of the students through the STEM education system.

Ucost will establish stem lab in 95 development block

Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology (UCOST) is trying to establish STEM labs in 95 development blocks of the state. In the first phase, important work is being done by UCOST to fulfill the objectives of the National Education Policy, 2020 by setting up STEM Lab in the development block in Dehradun including the border districts of the state.
