Uttarakhand: Candidates will have to take these precautions during campaigning, Election Commission issued instructions

This year, candidates will have to be very careful about the procession taken out for campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections. Now more than 10 vehicles will not be used simultaneously during the campaign. If there are more vehicles than this, they will have to form a convoy in groups of 10-10. Also, the expenses will be calculated on the basis of vehicles included in the procession and will be added to the expenses of the candidate.

Even in the road show, candidates will not be able to occupy more than half the road space. The office of the Chief State Electoral Officer is busy in preparations for the Lok Sabha elections in the state. After the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, the guidelines of the Central Election Commission will become effective. This time the Commission has shown strictness regarding the use of vehicles during election campaigning and processions.
