Nominations of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Lok Sabha candidates can take place between March 22 and 27. Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami will be present in the nomination program of all the candidates. State President Mahendra Bhatt said that the nomination dates will be announced today on Tuesday. Central leaders may also be present in these programs.

Lok Sabha election management meeting was held at BJP state office on Monday. During this, along with nominations, there was discussion about election campaign and rallies of big leaders. During the meeting, instructions were given to speed up the election campaign and contact every section of the society. It was decided in the meeting that in the election campaign, coordination will be done with the state organization up to the booth and Panna level and small meetings will be organized at the booth level. It was also decided to organize several programs including the foundation day of the party on April 6 next month, on completion of two years of the Dhami government. According to the State President, reports have been sought from all the Lok Sabhas for the rallies of the Prime Minister and other top leaders to be held as part of the Lok Sabha election campaign. This list will be sent to the central leadership by Tuesday.

State in-charge Dushyant Gautam, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, State President Mahendra Bhatt, General Secretary Organization Ajay Kumar, Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna, former Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat, Union Minister of State Ajay Bhatt, MP Ajay Tamta and Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah etc. were present in the meeting.

It is our responsibility to make Prime Minister Modi win all five seats: Dhami
Talking to the media after the meeting, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said that PM Modi treats Uttarakhand like a family. Therefore, now it is the responsibility of all of us to ensure that the protector of our family wins all the five seats with record votes. Dhami said that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the people of the state to make Modi ji the PM again. Modi has a relation of deeds and hearts with Uttarakhand.

Center requested for uninterrupted power supply to the state
On the question asked on his recent visit to Delhi, the Chief Minister said that many schemes of the state have been approved in various ministries and he had gone to Delhi in the context of those schemes. He said that during this time he has made a request to ensure uninterrupted electricity to the state even after April.

Impressed by the actions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today a large number of leaders and workers of opposition parties across the country are joining the party. This is the reason why opposition parties are either not getting candidates today or their leaders are not able to muster the courage to contest elections.
