Crime Branch ASP Samar Verma said that on the night of 14 and 15 March, neighboring youth Mukul was seen coming and going around the house of railway worker Rajkumar Vishwakarma. Gas cutter, polythene and other things were seen near it. After the incident, at around 12 noon, Mukul came out of his colony on a red scooter and the railway employee’s minor daughter also followed him on foot. After this, both were seen together at the railway station and bus stand also.
ASP said that the murder accused cut the kitchen window located behind the flat with a gas cutter and then entered the house. He killed Rajkumar and his 8 year old son. After this, the child’s body was wrapped in polythene and kept first in the kitchen and then in the fridge. After this, the murder accused came out of the house, locked the door and ran away. On the basis of CCTV footage, it is believed that after the incident, both Mukul and the railway worker’s daughter escaped.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Aditya Pratap Singh said that the wife of railway employee Rajkumar Vishwakarma had died. After this, he was living with two minor children. On Friday, Rajkumar Vishwakarma’s brother received a voice message that a 19-year-old youth living in the neighborhood had murdered his father and brother. After the information, the police reached the spot and found that Rajkumar and his son had been murdered.
The son’s body was in the fridge. The father and son were murdered with a sharp weapon. Since then the prince’s minor daughter had gone missing. Police believe that this is a suspicious case of love affair. According to the police, the girl had eloped with the accused in September 2023, after which a case was registered against him.
