Sour relations between America and Israel! Biden warned Netanyahu in the talk held after 33 days

Its friend America has also become angry due to Israel’s increasing attacks in Gaza. Israel is also preparing attacks on the Rafah border, which is considered a ‘safe’ place in Gaza. Benjamin Netanyahu had said a few days ago that Hamas fighters are hiding among the civilians in Rafah, and to eliminate Hamas, they will have to start an operation in Rafah. But many countries including America had urged Israel not to do so. Now US President Biden has given a strong warning against Israel entering Rafah. Let us tell you that due to the recent sourness in the relations between America and Israel, talks between the two leaders took place on Monday after 15th February.

The US warned against attacking the densely populated city of Rafah, saying, “Such a ground operation would deepen the humanitarian crisis in the besieged area.” US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, speaking to the media on Monday, said that President Biden has warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that attacking Rafah would be a big ‘mistake’. Apart from this, Jake Sullivan also said that President Joe Biden is still committed to the goal of defeating Hamas.

Attack on Rafa will cost innocent lives
Jake Sullivan said that attacking Rafah would deepen the humanitarian crisis, with people already forced to live in Rafah without basic amenities. If military action starts in Rafah, it will make the situation more dire. Let us tell you, since the attack on Southern Israel on October 7, the Israeli army has killed more than 31,000 Palestinians in Gaza, the majority of those killed are women and children.

Israeli officials called to Washington
According to Sulvin, Biden has asked Netanyahu to send a team of intelligence and military officials to Washington DC to hear Israel’s plans to launch any operation in Rafah. Throughout the war, Israel had asked Gaza citizens to move from north to south because Israel had carried out attacks in northern Gaza. But now the Israeli army is also preparing to attack the densely populated Rafah in South Gaza.
