Haridwar Lok Sabha seat is a high profile seat of Uttarakhand. Congress has not yet announced its candidate for this seat, but BSP has announced its candidate today.
Today, independent MLA Umesh Kumar reached the Collectorate building in Roshnabad and filed his nomination from Haridwar seat. During this time a large number of his supporters gathered. Former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat is contesting from BJP on this seat. At the same time, Congress has not yet declared its candidate for this seat. From here the names of former CM Harish Rawat and his son are in discussion.
