ISIS India Chief Haris Farooqui linked to Haldwani blast, Dehradun, Uttarakhand police on alert
Haris Farooqui, the India chief of the terrorist organization ISIS, had tried to spread its foothold in entire Uttarakhand. In the year 2021, he contacted some people in USnagar. He had taken training in IED blast. There he was preparing to make a bomb. Intelligence has got important clues in this regard. Terrorist organization ISIS had made preparations to terrorize various cities of the country with blasts. For this, Haris contacted some people and tested the twine bomb in Gola river near Haldwani. After the arrest of Shahnawaz Alam, the search for people who came in contact with Haris was started. Shahnawaz is said to be close to Haris. However, at that time the agencies could not get information about him. Now after the arrest of Harish, his local links have been started to be investigated. Clues are being found in which areas of Uttarakhand his people are present. Uttarakhand Police has started preparations to bring Haris to Dehradun and interrogate him, so that the link to the state can be investigated.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police had arrested three terrorists in October 2023. Police had revealed that these terrorists were planning bomb blasts at many places in the country. After strict interrogation, it came to light that he was also in contact with Haris, a resident of Dehradun. After this, all the agencies started searching for Haris. Haris was absconding since that time. The matter of his escape through Nepal also came to light. All the agencies of Uttarakhand also searched for him, but no information could be found.
Stir over arrest from Assam intensifies
ISIS chief in India Haris Farooqui has been arrested from Assam. Since then, unrest has increased in Uttarakhand. There is also talk of bringing him to Dehradun. Haris Farooqui’s family lives in Singhal Mandi. As soon as Farooqui was arrested, the Uttarakhand government and local intelligence agencies were alerted. Reports from agencies kept coming throughout the day on Thursday. According to the police, Haris Farooqui had joined the ISIS organization while studying at Aligarh Muslim University. He came in contact with the terrorist organization shortly after his admission in Aligarh. His activity could not be revealed at that time.
Last year, two accused of a gang were caught in a vehicle theft incident in West Bengal. During investigation of his phone, Pune based terrorist module was detected. Information also came to light that he is in contact with Haris Farooqui. NIA Delhi Crime Branch and UP ATS became active after this. However, Harish could not reach him. During this time, NIA had shared Haris’s input with Uttarakhand Intelligence and ATS. The NIA team reached Dehradun and also conducted the investigation.
Family lives in Singhal Mandi
The atmosphere started heating up after the news of Haris’s connection with Chakrata went viral. After this a situation of confusion was seen in the area. On this, SSP Ajay Singh released the video and said that no link has been found between Haris and Chakrata. Harish’s father’s association with SIMI before its ban has also come to light. Therefore, surveillance of this family by intelligence agencies was going on for a long time. According to sources, Harish’s family lived on rent in a house in Nehru Colony. Due to repeated arrival of police and other agencies there or calling the family, the landlord got the room vacated. After this the same thing happened in Dalanwala also. When he went to Muslim Colony, he had to change his house there also. After this he started living in Singhal Mandi.

Haris, who worked for ISIS, became prominent in India due to his effective communication skills. It is said about him that the people with whom he grew close became influenced by him. He had expertise in connecting people. Haris studied till 12th from a private school located on Raipur Road, Dehradun. After this he went to Aligarh Muslim University to do B.Tech. His father had also studied from Aligarh. There, Haris came in contact with a young man named Warsi and became the leader of ISIS. Harish’s father Ajmal has a dispensary in the Municipal Corporation premises located at Faltu Line. The dispensary remained closed on Thursday after the arrest of the son. When some customers reached the dispensary, they were told that Ajmal was at home.
Marriage with Siwan’s girl
Haris Farooqui, caught from Assam, was declared wanted last year i.e. in October 2023. Earlier, he had last come to Dehradun in July 2023. According to police sources, at that time Haris had also brought his children along, but did not stay at his house. After some time it was revealed that he is the Indian head of the ISIS terrorist organization. According to the police, while studying engineering in Aligarh, Haris Farooqui came in contact with a girl from Siwan, Bihar. Both of them had a love marriage in Aligarh about 8 years ago. He has three children. Now Haris’s wife is living in her maternal home. During terrorist activities, Harish had stopped coming to Dehradun. Local intelligence is collecting this information. After being declared wanted, he sent his wife and children to his in-laws’ house in Bihar.
