Uttar Pradesh / Kanpur: Three polytechnic students died after being crushed by a roadways bus, angry family members blocked the road

In Ghatampur area of Kanpur, three polytechnic students were going on bicycle to study in the morning, when a roadways bus coming from behind crushed them. After this the bus overturned. In this incident, all three students died on the spot. The passengers sitting in the bus were injured. There was panic in the area after the incident.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot and took stock of the incident. The police took out the people in the bus and took them to the hospital. The police have taken the bodies of the students into their custody and kept them in the mortuary. Efforts are being made to take the bus out of the pit. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered in the surrounding area.
Students were going to the station by bicycle
Police said that students Manish, Ayush and Deepak Bharua, residents of Ghatampur, were studying in Polytechnic College in Sumerpur. These students used to go to study by train from Patra station. Students used to come to the station from their villages on bicycles. This morning, when the students were going from the village to the station, they were crushed by a roadways bus coming from behind, due to which all three died on the spot.
People said – vehicles move at speed, due to which accidents occur
After the incident, angry villagers and family members blocked the highway. As soon as the information was received, a crowd of thousands of people from the surrounding area reached the spot. People say that buses and trucks here run at high speed, due to which accidents often occur. The police administration is trying to convince people.
