Former Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria joins BJP, may contest elections from Ghaziabad

Former Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria has joined BJP. He took membership of BJP in the presence of Union Minister Anurag Thakur and BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde. According to the information received in the report, BJP can make him its candidate for the Lok Sabha elections from Ghaziabad, UP.
Let us tell you that RKS Bhadauria held the post of Air Force Chief from 30 September 2019 to 30 September 2021. He was the 23rd Air Force Chief of the country. Bhadauria is originally a resident of Bah tehsil of Agra district. Along with him, YSR Congress leader Vara Prasad Rao also joined BJP.
Fifth list may be released today
BJP may release its fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections today. This information has been received quoting sources that the tickets of Varun Gandhi, Sanghamitra Maurya and VK Singh can be cut. There is a possibility of fielding Maneka Gandhi again from Sultanpur. Whereas tickets are possible for Dharmendra Pradhan from Sambhalpur, Sambit Patra from Puri and Aparajita Sarangi from Bhubaneswar. Tickets of two sitting MPs Visheshwar Tudu and Pratap Sarangi may be cut.
BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting was held on Saturday
It is noteworthy that the dates of Lok Sabha elections have been announced. In such a situation, the meeting of BJP’s Central Election Committee lasted for 3 hours on Saturday. CEC members including PM Modi, Union Home Minister Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP President JP Nadda attended this meeting. During this, the list of possible candidates from the states was discussed. In this meeting, the names of candidates from Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Rajasthan were discussed. Let us tell you that seven-phase elections are to be held for 543 seats of Lok Sabha between April 19 and June 1. Counting of votes will take place on June 4.
