Uttarakhand: Holi will be played today in Kumaon districts, Nainital DM issued holiday order

Holi will be played in the districts of Kumaon division on 26th March i.e. today. Nainital district administration has issued orders for Holi holiday for today. Let us tell you that this order has been issued on Monday afternoon.

Nainital District Magistrate Vandana Singh has made partial amendments in the local holidays and has amended the Ashtami holiday into Holi holiday. Let us tell you that there was a constant state of doubt among the people throughout the district. Holi will be played today in Kumaon districts.

Know here what will be open and what will be closed
It has been said in the order that by making partial amendment in the local holidays declared in all the offices/institutions (except Bank/Treasury/Sub-Treasury) under Nainital district, on 24th September 2024, it has been declared for Ashtami Shraddha (Ashtaka). In place of the holiday, Holi is being declared as a local holiday on 26th March 2024.

All schools, colleges and government offices of Nainital district will also remain closed on Tuesday. However, this local holiday will not be effective in banks, treasuries and sub-treasuries.
