Savitri Jindal’s political journey

Savitri Jindal is the chairperson of OP Group. She has been MLA from Hisar constituency and minister in Haryana government for 10 years. Jindal was elected to the Haryana Assembly from Hisar constituency following the death of her husband and Jindal Group founder OP Jindal in a plane crash in 2005. She won the election again from Hisar in 2009. In October 2013, he was made a cabinet minister in the Haryana government. In 2006, he served as the Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies and Housing. Although Savitri Jindal lost from Hisar in the 2014 Haryana Assembly elections, she has now decided to leave the Congress.
