Applications will start in Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1st April
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the full schedule for admission to classes 1 to 11 for the academic session 2024-25. Let us tell you that the KVS Class 1 admission registration process will start from April 1. KV has launched a new admission portal for admission to a total of 1,254 Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. It says that KV Class 11 admission registration will start 10 days after the declaration of Class 10 board exam result.
Children with CWSN will be given exemption
It is stated that the list of registered children, list of eligible children, category-wise list of provisionally selected children, waiting list and subsequent lists, besides being displayed on the notice board of the school, will be compulsorily uploaded on the website of the respective Kendriya Vidyalayas. Will be displayed. Apart from this, it has been told that children with special needs (CWSN) will be given relaxation at the age of two years.
Age limit for admission in class 11th and 12th?
All newly opened Kendriya Vidyalayas till February 2024 have been instructed to conduct admissions to Class 1 in online mode through Ola portal and for other classes only in offline mode. However, the schedule of admission after Class 2 will not be binding on them. There is no age limit for admission to KVS Class 11th and 12th, provided the student seeks admission in the year of passing the Class 10 board exam. Similarly, there will be no age limit for admission to Class 12, provided there is no interruption in studies after passing Class 11.
When will the applications start in Kendriya Vidyalaya?
KVS Class 1 admission application starts from 1st April at 10 am. The last date for registration is 15th April till 5 pm. The first selected and waiting list of registered students will be released on April 19, followed by subsequent lists on April 29 and May.
In case of insufficient applications the second notification for admission to Class 1 will be issued on 7th May, registration will be from 8th May to 15th May. Registrations for Class 2 and above will be accepted offline from April 1 to April 10. Except for class 11, the admission process will continue till June 29.
How to apply in Kendriya Vidyalaya?
To apply for admission in Class 1, parents can visit the official websites of KVS at kvsagathan.nic.in and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Careful attention should be paid while filling the details like child’s name, parents’ name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number.
Documents required for admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya?
For successful admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya, parents must ensure that they have the original birth certificate of the child, SC/ST/OBC certificate (if applicable), residential certificate, service certificate of the child’s mother/father. Necessary documents should be there including letter and two photographs of the child.
