Uttarakhand: Kidnapping of three year old girl, accused caught in CCTV taking away innocent child
A three-year-old girl, who had come from Uttar Pradesh with her family, went missing in Harki Paidi area of Haridwar. A suspicious person was caught on CCTV kidnapping an innocent child. Police have registered a case on the complaint of family members and started searching for the girl.
Kidnapping of three year old girl
According to the information received, Mahendra, son of Yadram, resident of Sambhal had come to Haridwar with his family to take a bath in the Ganga. His three year old daughter Jyoti was also with him. The person told in the complaint given to the police that Jyoti suddenly disappeared while taking bath near Nai Ghat on Wednesday.
Accused caught in CCTV carrying girl
Mahendra informed the police about the matter. Police checked the CCTV cameras installed nearby. In the CCTV, a suspect is seen holding the girl’s hand and then taking her away sitting on his shoulder. On the complaint of Mahendra, the police have registered a case of kidnapping and started searching for the girl.
Police engaged in investigation
Regarding the matter, Kotwali in-charge Kundan Singh Rana said that different teams of CIU and police have started searching for the accused. A team is also camping in the districts of western Uttar Pradesh. Soon the girl will be recovered safely and the accused will be arrested.
