Maharashtra / Nagpur: The girl was smoking a cigarette at a paan shop, when the father of 4 daughters stared at her, she attacked him with a knife

In Maharashtra, a man was stabbed to death for molesting two girls and making indecent remarks at them in a market in Nagpur city. It is alleged that the girl killed 28-year-old Ranjit Rathod because he was staring at her while she was smoking a cigarette at a paan shop.

The incident took place on Saturday night when Ranjit Rathod had gone to the paan shop. Meanwhile, Jayshree Panjhade reached there to smoke a cigarette and started smoking. Here Ranjit Rathod also started smoking cigarettes. A police official said that two women and a man involved in the attack that took place in Mahalakshmi Nagar under Hudkeshwar police station area on Saturday night have been arrested. He told that a person named Ranjit Rathod made indecent remarks on the accused Jayshree Panjhade and Savita Sayre who had come to buy clothes and after this a heated argument broke out between them.
Started making video of girl smoking cigarette
According to the police, when Ranjit was staring at Jayshree, she objected. After this the young man took out his mobile phone and started making a video of Jayshree in which she was abusing him while smoking a cigarette. The officer said that amidst the argument, Jayshree called her friend Akash Dinesh Raut, who reached the spot and had a fight with Rathore. He stabbed Rathod several times with a knife and then ran away.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took Rathod to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. Based on the CCTV footage of the area, the police have arrested all three under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
