Uttarakhand: Jams are overflowing in the election season, Excise department caught a smuggler, 5 boxes of liquor recovered

Code of conduct is in force for Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand. The Excise Department is running a campaign to curb the illegal liquor trade. The Excise Department has recovered five boxes of English liquor including a smuggler. While the other accused managed to escape.
Excise department caught a smuggler
The information given by the police was received at around 8 o’clock on Tuesday. Taking cognizance of this, a car was cordoned off and stopped near Daksh intersection. Upon search, five boxes of English liquor were recovered from the trunk of the car. The price of liquor in the market is said to be around Rs 44 thousand.

The person driving the car managed to escape during the search. Who has been identified as Yogesh Chand resident of Old Galla Mandi Kichha. The second person revealed his name as Heera Singh resident of Dhaulakheda Haldwani. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections.
