Iran itself will not attack Israel but America’s intelligence report increases Netanyahu’s concern
Sources associated with America’s intelligence agencies have said that Iran can attack Israel through its proxy militia. These organizations can use drones and missiles to harm Israel. This claim of the people of the American intelligence agency has come to the fore at a time when tension has increased between Iran and Israel. Seven people, including Iran’s top general, have been killed in Israel’s recent attack on the Syrian Consulate. Iran has vowed to avenge the attack. After this, the forces in Israel are on alert mode.
According to CNN report, two people associated with US intelligence on this matter said, ‘An Iranian attack on Israel would be carried out by Iranian proxy forces in the region rather than directly by Iran. Tehran is wary of a dramatic escalation in fighting and does not want to give the US or its allies any opportunity to directly retaliate. Iran and its proxy militia groups appear unwilling to attack US troops or assets for such reasons but Iran does not have full command and control over all of its proxy forces. Therefore, the possibility of attack on American assets cannot be completely ruled out.
Want to attack as soon as possible!
The US and its allies are preparing possible attacks against Israeli and US assets in the region as militia groups respond to last week’s Israeli attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus. US intelligence assesses that Iran has asked several of its proxy militia groups to launch a large-scale simultaneous attack against Israel using drones and missiles. They want to carry out this attack this week or as soon as possible. It is also being said that they will wait till the end of Ramzan to attack.
The source claims the threat is very clear and credible. They have formed units to carry out the attack and are waiting for the right moment. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence had no comment on this report. While the office has not confirmed this report, it has not denied it either.
