Uttarakhand: Case registered against two Delhi government officials, accused of framing and threatening; Case registered under these sections

On the orders of the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court, the Revenue Police has registered a case against senior Delhi government official Naresh Kumar and another officer Rajshekhar. Naresh Kumar is being described as the Chief Secretary of Delhi.

These officers have also been accused of framing and threatening the NGO officials for not withdrawing the complaint. Besides, there has also been an allegation of looting Rs 63 thousand from the office of an NGO.

Considering the case of SC-ST, it has been transferred to the regular police. The suit was filed in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate on behalf of Vipin Kumar Arya, joint secretary of The Pleasant Valley Foundation. It says that his organization is registered in Delhi. He runs Dhamartha Vidyalaya in village Dadakanda of Almora district in which the organization also has its office. His organization had filed a complaint with the Central Vigilance Commission on December 11, 2023, against Delhi Government Promotee Officer Rajshekhar resident of HIG Flats Motiya Khan Delhi. It is alleged that Naresh Kumar and Rajashekhar put pressure on him to withdraw the complaints sent to various officials including the Prime Minister’s Office and the Home Minister regarding various scams.

Also allegation
The NGO alleges that on February 14, both the officers sent four persons from Delhi to Dadakanda. The persons who came from Delhi threatened the Joint Secretary of the NGO that if the complaints were not withdrawn then many false cases would be registered against the office bearers of the organization. He also tried to obtain signatures on papers and affidavits made in the name of the victim’s organization. When the victim protested, the office was vandalized. Many files, records, documents and pen dives were forcibly looted, which contained evidence of his various scams and corruption.

Case registered under these sections
Chief Judicial Magistrate Daya Ram, while accepting the application of VK Arya alias Vipin Kumar Arya, Organization Secretary of The Pleasant Valley Foundation, had ordered Revenue Sub Inspector Area Govindpur to investigate by registering a case against Naresh Kumar and Rajshekhar. On the orders of the court, Govindpur Revenue Police has registered a case against the accused under sections 392, 447,120B, 504 of IPC and SC-ST Act.

Complaint was also made to the Revenue Police and Police Administration
The victim also alleges that an application was given to Patwari area Govindpur, Almora to register a report about this incident but no action was taken. Complaint was also sent to DM and SSP through online medium. As no action was taken, a complaint was sent to the Governor, Chief Minister and Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand but no hearing was held here either.
