Uttarakhand / Haridwar: The family got angry after seeing the daughter with the young man, stripped the lover and beat him mercilessly

A case that puts humanity to shame has come to light from Roorkee, Haridwar. The family’s temper rose after seeing the daughter with a young man. The girl’s family members stripped the young man, tied him with a rope and beat him mercilessly. Someone made a video of the incident which is going viral on social media.

Video of young man being stripped and beaten is going viral
According to the information received, police said that a video was going viral on social media on Friday. In which some people were seen running after stripping the young man, tying his hands with a rope and beating him mercilessly. When the viral video was investigated, it was found that the place of incident was Khatka bypass of Roorkee.

The young man is admitted in the hospital
The name of the young man who is being beaten in the video is Arjun and he is a resident of Toda Kalyanpur. After identifying the young man, the police reached his house for questioning. On reaching there it came to light that the young man was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. When information was taken from the youth’s family, it was found that the video was from April 9.

Due to fear of bullies, family members refused to file complaint
The police asked the family members to lodge a complaint but due to fear the girl’s family refused to lodge a complaint. In this case, a complaint has been given to the police on behalf of constable Anoop Singh. According to the information regarding the matter, Kotwali in-charge RK Saklani said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against Toda Kalyanpur resident of Mainpal and other people.

Search for the accused continues
Kotwali in-charge RK Saklani said that investigation revealed that on the day of the incident, Mainpal’s daughter was standing with the youth. Angered by this, the accused committed the crime. The people who attacked in the video are being searched. All the people will be identified and action will be taken as per rules.
