Uttarakhand: Election has focused on Ankita, Agniveer and identity of Uttarakhand – Rajiv Maharshi
Chief Media Coordinator of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee, Rajiv Mehrishi today said that the Lok Sabha election campaign in the state has now completely focused on the Ankita murder case, Agneepath and the question of the identity of Uttarakhand. He claimed that the trend of the people of the state clearly shows that they are no longer ready to tolerate the anti-people governments of the Center and the BJP.
He said that the deaf government of the state does not hear the screams of Ankita Bhandari’s helpless mother, in the same way, the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, which pretends to save Beti Beti Padhao, is also silent even after seeing everything, in such a situation, how can people listen to her? Can tolerate.
Maharishi said that Army is the first choice of the youth of Uttarakhand. This is not just employment for them but also a sense of dedication towards the nation, but the way the Modi government has crushed their dreams by bringing the Agniveer scheme, now Agniveer constables from Uttarakhand are serving the country in the army as Havildar-Subedar. The idea of bringing glory to one’s family has become a dream. Now no soldier of the state will become a Havildar or Subedar. Modi government has closed all avenues for them. Due to this, there is immense anger in the hearts of the youth and its expression will be in the form of voting in favor of Congress on 19th April. The only Congress party, if it comes to power, has promised to end the Agneepath scheme and restore the old structure of the army and people have made up their mind to trust the promise of the Congress and make it win all the five Lok Sabha seats in the state.
Rajiv Maharshi said that the BJP government has committed the sin of giving the resources of Uttarakhand to its rich friends. Some of the youth here have been robbed of their employment opportunities. By creating scams in recruitment examinations, BJP has created employment merchants like Hakam Singh. This is plunder of the state’s identity. BJP has created an empire of black money through bribery of electoral bonds. BJP has collected huge donations from the company whose Silkyara Tunnel gave wound to Uttarakhand. Every child knows this fact.
He said that the BJP, which had declared Gairsain as the summer capital, has not been able to muster the courage to conduct the assembly session there even though now all the resources have been collected there, on the contrary, the Congress government had conducted the session in a tent there. The people of the state are seeing that BJP only knows how to mislead the public by making false promises, but now people have understood its reality and are going to teach it a lesson on April 19.
