Uttarakhand: BJP expressed gratitude to the voters for voting in Lok Sabha elections, told why the turnout decreased?

Uttarakhand BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt has thanked the voters for voting in the Lok Sabha elections. Along with this he told why the voting has reduced in Uttarakhand this time.

Bharatiya Janata Party has thanked the voters for voting in the Lok Sabha elections. Uttarakhand BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt has also given the reason for low voting. He blamed the opposition for low turnout. He has said that there was no opposition competition in this election that is why there was less voting.
Suggested to make voting mandatory
While on one hand Mahendra Bhatt has given the reason for low turnout, on the other hand he has also expressed concern over low turnout. He has also suggested the Election Commission to make a concrete policy for this and make voting mandatory. The BJP President also said that the voters have approved the Prime Minister’s development work.
This time 55.89% voting took place
This time 55.89% voting took place in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand. The highest turnout has taken place in Haridwar Lok Sabha seat while the least turnout has taken place in Almora Lek Sabha seat. There was 61.35% voting in Nainital, 46.94% voting in Almora, 62.46% voting in Haridwar, 52.57% voting in Tehri and 50.84% voting in Pauri.
