Rajasthan: ‘If you don’t come, I will make the clip viral…’ Woman calls Municipality Chairman to her house, honeytraps him and demands Rs 1 crore

In Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, the municipality chairman became a victim of honeytrap. A woman had called the chairman and asked him to meet her at a house. The woman said that if you do not come to meet me, I have your clip and will make it viral. After this, when the chairman arrived, a video was made of him with the woman and he asked for Rs 1 crore.

According to the information, Khirni Municipality Chairman Roop Singh Doi had complained about the matter to the police on April 29. In the complaint, Chairman Roopsingh Doi had said that a woman called him on his mobile at 9 pm on Monday night and asked him to meet. The woman threatened that she had made an obscene clip of you. If you don’t come, I will make the clip viral and ruin your political career.

After this, the chairman came to meet the woman, but the woman called repeatedly and kept the chairman busy on the call for about four hours. The chairman kept wandering here and there. After this the woman called the chairman to meet her at a house near the petrol pump at Bambori intersection.

On being told by the woman, the chairman reached the house. The woman’s friends were already present there. They made a video of the chairman with the woman and locked the chairman in a room. 23 thousand rupees and a gold chain were also taken from the chairman’s pocket. Along with this, a ransom of Rs 1 crore was demanded. The chairman got scared by this incident and called two places to arrange the money. After this the accused took the chairman to a deserted place.

The chairman took into confidence a person from the society present there and sent the information and location to the family members. After getting the information and location of the chairman’s kidnapping, the family members reached the spot. During this time, seeing the family members, the kidnappers left the chairman and ran away.

After being freed from the clutches of the accused, the chairman went straight to the police station and lodged a report of honeytrap and kidnapping against the accused. Police Officer Rajveer Singh said that considering the seriousness of the matter, Superintendent of Police Mamta Gupta was informed about the incident. Teams were formed on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police.

With the help of informer system and mobile location and technical assistance, the police team arrested accused Abhay son of Vikram resident of Camry, Pramendra son of Hiralal resident of Barolas, Munesh son of Shambhu resident of Manauli, Uday Singh son of Ramratan resident of Manauli, Sunita wife of late. Kherda, resident of Gambhira Hall, resident of Omprakash was arrested. At present the police is busy interrogating the accused.
