Truth and Reality

Dhami is in demand in many states in the campaign for Lok Sabha elections-2024.

Signaling the rising stature of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the BJP central leadership is using him in election campaigns in various parts of the country. After leading a tough election campaign in Uttarakhand, where he addressed 90 public meetings in different parts of the state, CM Dhami has started campaigning in other states where elections are to be held in the remaining phases. In the coming days, CM will address public meetings in support of BJP candidates in West Bengal, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. He has already addressed half a dozen public meetings in different parts of the country where he has received very good public response. On Tuesday, Dhami participated in the nomination rally of BJP leader Locket Chatterjee in Hooghly, West Bengal. The Uttarakhand CM on Wednesday attended nomination rallies of BJP candidates in Delhi East and Ayodhya.

He has already addressed public meetings in Nizamabad, Warangal and Hyderabad. Dhami was also present along with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the nomination rally of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.

Interestingly, Dhami was in election mode even before the announcement of Lok Sabha elections. Before the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and the announcement of elections, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand had addressed Nari Shakti Vandan programs and beneficiary conferences in all the 13 districts of the state.

It is pertinent to mention here that Dhami has already endeared himself to the BJP leadership by running a campaign to demolish illegal madrassas, bringing in a strict anti-copying act and a law to prevent religious conversions in the state. These steps, along with the decision to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and anti-riot laws, have increased his stature in the BJP and national politics.
