Uttarakhand: On the instructions of Chief Minister Dhami, special arrangements have been made on the Kedarnath Yatra route regarding drinking water, sanitation and health facilities

Chardham Yatra has started in Uttarakhand. For the last two days, all the three Dhams including Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri are buzzing. On the first day, a record number of more than 29 thousand pilgrims from India and abroad visited Kedarnath Dham.

As per the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, concrete arrangements have been made to ensure that there is no problem at Kedarnath Dham, helipad, Kedarnath pedestrian route and Kedarnath Highway. A separate travel control room has been established by the district administration along with CCTV cameras. 24×7 staff has been deployed in the travel control room. Apart from this, the problems registered by the passengers on the helpline number are being resolved.

Monitoring will be done from the control room

Along with this, if any problem is faced by the passengers in the helipad, footpath, highway and Kedarnath Dham, then the administration is watching it through CCTV cameras and then soon the concerned officers are sent to that place to solve the problems of the passengers. Arrangements have been made.

A view from 125 CCTV cameras

Chief Minister, about 125 CCTV cameras have been installed for the Chardham Yatra, through which the movement of devotees is being monitored.

Special attention to cleanliness

Following the instructions of Chief Minister Dhami, special attention is being paid to cleanliness in Kedarnath this year. This year more sanitation workers have been deployed for this work as compared to previous years. Special care is being taken to ensure that passengers do not face any inconvenience and that dirt and garbage does not spread on the travel route.

Arrangements for drinking water have been made at various places on the yatra route. To provide health care to the devotees, health camps have been set up at various places along the yatra route so that immediate health care can be provided to the pilgrims.

On the special instructions of the Chief Minister, the top officials of the government are constantly keeping an eye on this world famous yatra and are on alert 24 hours to ensure that there is no hindrance in the yatra.
