Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi: Heavy dog had to be thrown down from the bridge into Tons river, case registered against the accused
After the video of a dog being thrown from Sandra bridge into Tons river in Uttarkashi went viral, the police have registered a case against the accused youth under sections of the Cruelty to Animals Act. A person had given a complaint to the police regarding the matter.

On Thursday, a person had filed a complaint with the police regarding the matter that a young man was seen throwing a dog from the bridge into the river below. In the video, it can be seen how a young man is throwing a young man into the Tons river from Mori Sandra bridge. The accused youth is said to be resident of Sandra Mori.
Case registered against the accused
On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused youth under sections of the Cruelty to Animals Act. Regarding the matter, police officers say that the police administration is serious about this type of cruelty against voiceless animals. Those who commit this type of atrocities will not be spared under any circumstances.
