In Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, the condition of a person deteriorated after being beaten by a sub-inspector. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he died. There was an uproar as soon as the news of the inspector’s death due to beating spread. The crowd surrounded the post and raised slogans. At the same time, in this matter, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav made a sharp attack on the UP government. He has demanded that a case of murder be registered against the guilty policeman and the family of the deceased should be given a compensation of Rs 5 crore. At present, an FIR has been registered against the accused inspector. Right now he is absconding.
It is being told that on Monday evening, 30 year old Daddan Yadav was brutally beaten with a stick by the outpost in-charge at Satrao intersection of Barhaj police station area, due to which his condition deteriorated. Daddan started vomiting blood. He was immediately taken to the hospital, from where the doctors referred Daddan to Maharishi Devraha Baba Medical College. But he died during treatment here on Tuesday evening.
FIR lodged against Inspector
After this incident, there was anger among the family members and the people of the area. After reaching the post, they raised slogans against the accused Inspector Virendra Kushwaha. Senior officers who reached the spot assured of taking action and only then did the crowd agree. Regarding the incident, SP Sankalp Sharma said that a 30-year-old youth named Daddan Yadav has died. The family members have accused the sub-inspector of beating him. On the basis of the complaint filed by the deceased’s wife Suman Devi, a case has been registered against the accused Sub Inspector Virendra Kushwaha in Barhaj police station under sections 302 and 504.
Accused of brutally beating in the middle of the intersection
Let us tell you that Daddan Yadav used to work as a labourer. He had to come and go to the house of the former village head. He was close to Pradhan’s son. He was fond of eating and drinking. At the same time, the accused Inspector Virendra Kushwaha is of a manly type and is in-charge of Satrao police post. A few days ago, the challan of Pradhan’s son’s car was issued by the Inspector, due to which there was a lot of debate. Daddan was also included in this. Due to which the inspector started harboring grudge against him.
In this anger, on Monday evening, when the inspector of the market at Satrao intersection caught sight of Daddan, he called him near. After an altercation, they started beating Daddan. Daddan was brutally beaten with sticks after falling down in the middle of the intersection. Due to this beating, Daddan started vomiting blood. The family members took him to Barhaj Hospital from where the doctors referred Daddan to Medical College Deoria and he was undergoing treatment here. But Daddan died on Tuesday evening.
After this incident, SP District President and local leaders/workers reached the spot. Due to the huge crowd and fear of any untoward incident, forces from several police stations were called outside the hospital. At present, the police has sent the body for post-mortem. The body will be cremated this morning. The police are waiting for the post mortem report. It is being said that the deceased already had a serious illness.

Deceased Daddan has three innocent daughters. The wife is crying bitterly after the incident. There is chaos in the family. In this matter, SP national president Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the BJP government by tweeting.
He wrote on social media – “Under BJP rule, some corrupt people within the police administration have started feeling that if they do anything illegal, their BJP masters will save them. The public is clearing this misconception in the elections. “Issues like open atrocities, deadly assault on the public, custodial deaths, false encounters, increasing recovery have made the police unbridled during the BJP era.”
Akhilesh has demanded that a case of murder be registered against the guilty police of Deoria and a compensation of at least Rs 5 crore should be given to the family of the deceased. At present, heavy police has been deployed in the area.
