Elections were held in Uttarakhand on April 19

Training of nodal officers will start soon

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande said that many meetings have been held with the officials and now training for counting of service votes has been started. Training of nodal officers for counting of EVM votes will be started from May 28, while training of district officials will be done from June 30. Apart from this, the election observer will reach Uttarakhand on June 2.

Counting of votes will be done under 3-layer security

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande said that the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand will be done within a three-layer security ring. In which the innermost security will be CAPF security, then PAC security, then the outermost security ring will be of the state police. The districts have sent approval to the Election Commission regarding the counting place and all its arrangements. He said that it is not possible to enter within this 3-layer security ring without checking.
