The mastermind of Haldwani violence has got relief from the High Court. The High Court has currently stayed the recovery of 2.68 crores from Abdul Malik, the main accused of the violence in Banbhulpura.

The Municipal Corporation had sent a notice to Abdul Malik, the mastermind of Haldwani violence, for recovery of 2.68 crores. The High Court has stayed this. The case was heard in the single bench of senior Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari. In which this decision has been taken. Due to which Abdul Malik has got relief.

There was loss of crores in Haldwani violence

Let us tell you that violence took place in Haldwani on February 8. In this violence, there was a loss of crores due to arson in Banbhulpura. After which the Municipal Corporation Haldwani had sent a notice of 2.68 crores to Abdul Malik, the mastermind of the violence. In this notice, it was asked to deposit this amount in the Municipal Corporation within three days.

The accused had challenged the notice in the High Court

Let us tell you that Haldwani Tehsildar had issued a recovery notice to the accused on 25 April 2024. Which the accused challenged in the High Court. It was said in the petition that the allegations leveled against him have not been proven yet. This matter is still pending in the court. Therefore, recovery cannot be made from him right now. Recovery can be made from him only after he is proven guilty.
