Uttarakhand: The state also needs representation in the Modi government…only one question, whose luck will shine…

Like always, Uttarakhand also needs representation in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet. After winning all five Lok Sabha seats, only one question is floating in the political circles of BJP that whose luck will shine among Ajay Bhatt, Anil Baluni, Trivendra Singh Rawat and Ajay Tamta. However, BJP is not going to form the government on its own, so it is not considered that easy for Uttarakhand state to get a ministerial post in the NDA government.

Anyway, discussions have intensified in the political corridors about which MP of the state will get entry in the Modi cabinet this time. Actually, Ajay Tamta of Uttarakhand became a minister of state in the 2014 Modi government. But it was also seen that the minister who was changed once in the Modi government did not get a chance again. Once Tamta was removed, he could not return to the cabinet.

In the 2019 government, instead of old face Tamta, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank got a chance as Education Minister. Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt got the opportunity to become Minister of State for Defense and Tourism. Now discussions are heating up about the representation of Uttarakhand in Modi’s third cabinet.

The royal family has never shown such interest

This time there are two MPs from the state, Ajay Bhatt and Ajay Tamta, who have experience of being in the Modi cabinet. Will any of these faces get a chance in the Modi cabinet, which is different from the old tradition? Tehri MP Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah’s name was never in discussions about the ministerial post. The royal family has never shown such interest. After Mala, the names of Anil Baluni and Trivendra Singh Rawat come.

Both the leaders belong to the Garhwal region. Baluni is considered close to BJP veteran Amit Shah. He has an important role as the national media in-charge in the central organization. His cordial relations with the central leaders can be gauged from the fact that Rajnath Singh, who came to campaign for him, had indicated to the voters of Garhwal that they are not just electing an MP.

Before being elected to the lower house, Baluni has represented Uttarakhand in the Rajya Sabha. But in the changed picture of central politics, his role as media in-charge has become very important. In such a situation, the second name that comes to mind is Trivendra Rawat, who was elected MP from Haridwar. Trivendra is also considered close to Amit Shah. He has worked with Amit Shah in the organization. He has a long political experience. The name of Trivendra, who has been a former Chief Minister, is also being discussed in political circles.

We are expecting that Uttarakhand should get representation in the central government. The Union Cabinet will be formed the day after tomorrow. We are fully confident that Uttarakhand will also be in the cabinet.
