President invites Narendra Modi to form the government, new government will be sworn in on 9 June

President Draupadi Murmu has invited Narendra Modi to form the government. The NDA has presented a claim to form the government by handing over the letter of support to the President today. According to reports, Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime Minister for the third time on June 9.

The proposal was approved in the meeting of the newly elected MPs of the BJP-led NDA in the Central Hall of Parliament. After being elected as the leader of the NDA, the way has been cleared for Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. Now Narendra Modi will become the second leader of the country, who will take oath as Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. Earlier this record was in the name of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Modi will equal this record as soon as he takes oath as PM.
