UP Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel and Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Suresh Kumar Khanna reached Shahjahanpur and participated in many programs

On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel and Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Suresh Kumar Khanna reached Vinoba Seva Ashram Bartara and first of all inaugurated the newly furnished building of Bank of Baroda branch Bartara located in the premises of the ashram by cutting the ribbon. In the same sequence, he garlanded the statue of Vinoba ji with a cotton garland and inaugurated the newly constructed Ahimsa Auditorium Granthagar building equipped with Rajya Sabha Cooperation Fund. He also visited the exhibition held in the premises of the ashram. He took information about the products made by the women of the self-help group in the exhibition and appreciated them.
Nandini Lok Mitra and Vinoba Pravah Sammelan program was organized under the chairmanship of Dr. Shankar Kumar Sanyal. Chief Guest Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Special Guest Uttar Pradesh Government Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna distributed symbolic cheques of CCL amount of Rs. 3,65,41000 to 259 self-help groups. He also released books based on the thoughts of Vinoba ji.
In his address, the chief guest said that all the people of Vinoba Seva Ashram have devoted their entire life to improving the lives of the poor. He said that this is an opportunity to learn as well as to imbibe it in the heart. Such ashrams should be helped. Daughters should work towards progressing in the fields of education etc. People should leave behind the various types of social evils which ruin families. Vinoba and Gandhi ji’s ideas should be followed. People should not forget their duty and should focus on it. He said that people leave their old parents in ashrams. Those who have brought them up by facing hardships in life, should not be left in ashrams. Keep them with you, serve them. He said that Rajya Bhavan provides a support of Rs. 150 crores for serving such ashrams so that children can be provided with educational work etc. Arrangements like air conditioning, hot water, library etc. can be made in the ashrams. He said that such children who spend their lives begging at crossroads should be enrolled in educational institutions by the ashram.
Rajpal told the district level officers that it should be ensured that all children go to school and no child should be deprived of education. Efforts should be made in the school to provide good education to the children and prepare them for competition for their bright future so that children can be made IAS, IPS etc. The message of education should be taken to every home. He said that work is being done in the field of education by adopting villages. Improvement is being done by adopting Anganwadi centers and TB patients in the village. People join by doing good work.
Emphasizing on women’s education, he said that those who are moving ahead in every field should be encouraged. The Government of India is benefiting women through the Drone Didi scheme. He said that through self-help groups, women are moving forward and making the family self-reliant. The respect of women is increasing in every field. He said that the Prime Minister has brought 25 lakh families out of poverty. Women are working hard to take their families forward and are coming out of poverty. The benefits of other schemes including Ayushman Bharat by the Government of India are reaching people directly. All schemes are reaching every home. He said that it is the responsibility of the public representatives to ensure that schools are good and good education is imparted. He said that new people should be motivated to join this ashram. He said that the country should move forward and lead the world. The Prime Minister’s dream is that India should be at the first place in every field in the world. All people have to unite and bring India to number one.
The special guest said that Gandhiji’s Gram Swaraj seems to be the source of inspiration behind the idea of this ashram. He said that the great man in whose name the ashram is built took a vow to follow celibacy at the age of 10 and left home at the age of 21 and his main idea was to serve the people. If we want to bind the words of Vinoba in today’s era, then there is policy above renunciation, spirituality above policy. I have learnt a lot from the Prime Minister, after 50 years, importance of cleanliness was given. The Prime Minister tried to make this movement known to the masses by running the Swachh Bharat Mission program. He said that a lot of changes have happened in the field of cleanliness in 10 years and a lot is yet to happen. Incorporate cleanliness in your life so that others can take inspiration.
Vinoba Seva Ashram founder Ramesh Bhaiya expressed his views on Vinoba Vichar Pravah. He said that today’s thought is based on compassion. Vinoba’s thought has to flow like Mother Ganga. Big conferences are being organized in the country for his thoughts. Various great people expressed their views in the Nandini Lok Mitra and Vinoba Pravah Sammelan programs. Great people who did excellent work in various fields were also honored.
