There has been a stir in Lalkuan after the body of an ITBP jawan was found hanging from a tree. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. There has been chaos in the ITBP campus since the incident.
Body of ITBP jawan found hanging from a tree
The incident happened last Thursday. In the afternoon, the forest workers of Gaula Range found the body of a young man hanging from a branch of a tree in the forest of Gaula behind the Hiran Baba temple. The forest workers informed the Lalkuan Kotwali police about the incident. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body of the deceased into their custody.
Police engaged in investigation
The deceased was identified as Chandan Kumar (26) son of Kishan Ram, a native of Gadhai Gangoli Pithoragarh, a jawan of the 34th Battalion ITBP. The police informed the ITBP battalion about the incident. After which ITBP officials reached the spot. The police have sent the body of the deceased jawan for postmortem. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
