Uttarakhand: Almora forest fire accident, officials were punished, two were suspended on the instructions of CM Dhami, one was attached
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a tough stand on the death of four forest workers in a forest fire accident in Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, Almora. On the instructions of CM Dhami, Conservator North and DFO Almora have been suspended. While CCF Kumaon has been attached.
This is the whole matter
On Thursday afternoon at around 3.30 pm, the Bolero vehicle of forest workers came under the grip of forest fire in Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, Almora. Four forest workers died in this accident. While four forest workers are badly injured. On Friday, the Chief Minister had given instructions to shift the four injured from Sushila Tiwari Base Hospital in Haldwani to Delhi AIIMS in two air ambulances.
