Uttarakhand: Debris fell on Gangotri Highway, traffic disrupted, long jam on both sides of the roads
After heavy rain in Uttarkashi in the afternoon, the Rishikesh-Gangotri highway has been blocked due to debris. In such a situation, there is a long jam on both sides of the roads.

The weather in Uttarakhand has started changing now. After heavy rains, a large amount of debris and stones came on the Gangotri highway between Agrakhal and Fakot. It was fortunate that no passenger was on the road at that time. Otherwise a big accident could have happened. However, the debris and stones closed the highway.
Long jam on both sides of the roads
As soon as the information of debris coming on the highway was received, the police team reached the spot. All Weather Road employees have started the work of opening the road with the help of BRO workers. The administration is slowly removing vehicles from one side.

According to the information, regarding the matter, police station in-charge PD Bhatt said that policemen have been deployed on the spot to make arrangements. Soon the route will be made smooth and opened.
