Uttarakhand: First cabinet meeting after Lok Sabha elections, 12 proposals approved, Metropolitan Transport Authority approved, posts increased in this department

A cabinet meeting was held in the secretariat on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. In the cabinet meeting held after about three months, 12 proposals were approved. After the cabinet meeting was over, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli briefed the cabinet. The cabinet has approved the Uttarakhand Integrated Metropolitan Transport Authority Bill. In such a situation, permission will have to be taken from this authority to improve transport facilities in the urban areas of the state. Work can be done after getting approval from the authority.

Key points of the cabinet meeting:

80 new posts approved under the Electrical Safety Department, till now there were 65 posts in the department.
Uttarakhand Integrated Metropolitan Transport Authority MLA, 2024 approved. The authority will work to improve transport facilities in the urban areas of the state.
Finance department officials will be given training in different phases after promotion. So that information about new technology and new rules can be given.
Accurate benefit will be given to the employees of the state government through the bank. For this, the government will sign MoU with the banks. There are about 1.5 lakh employees in the state.
Approval for amendment in Tourism Policy-2018.
A policy has been made for the families affected during the development of Mahasu Devta temple. The cabinet has approved it. About 26 families are being affected by this development.
Approval for 33% reservation of posts for women for the chairperson and members of the cooperative society.
Approval for 13 posts for the Food Analysis Laboratory in Dehradun.
Approval for 8 posts in mobile van for testing food items.
As there is no rule for ministerial cadre in all the authorities under the Housing Department, now the Housing Department will adopt the rule of the Personnel Department.
Approval for the amount spent in the regional conference of the Family Court organized under the Justice Department.
There are 3 posts of junior assistant in the Medical Service Selection Board. For which an integration rule has been made. The cabinet has approved it.
