Uttar Pradesh: Block pramukhs in uproar due to statement of former SP MP Revati Raman, met CM Yogi

There is a stir in the BJP over the statement given by former MP Revati Raman Singh that the block chiefs elected with the support of SP should resign on moral grounds. This statement of Revati Raman in Yamunapar is making headlines. Since then, there has been a stir in the BJP. During the last ten days, BJP MLA from Karchana Piyush Ranjan Nishad has met CM Yogi twice.
On Sunday also, he met CM Yogi Adityanath along with BJP leader Ashok Singh and several block chiefs. After the meeting, Piyush said that the CM has said that no no-confidence motion will be brought anywhere in the state. In fact, on June 9, some Pradhans and area panchayat members of Yamunapar met former MP and senior Samajwadi Party leader Revati Raman Singh.
Then Revati told them that the block chiefs elected with the support of SP should resign on moral grounds. If they do not resign, then you people bring a no-confidence motion against all such block chiefs, I will support it. This statement of Revati spread in the political corridors.
Only after this, MLA Piyush Ranjan Nishad met CM Yogi in Lucknow on June 14 along with Karchana block pramukh Kamlesh Dwivedi. After this meeting, the MLA once again reached the CM residence with some block pramukhs around 12.30 pm on Sunday. During this, he told about the harassment of Bharatiya Janata Party’s block pramukhs, especially Brahmins, in Prayagraj. Said that by creating an atmosphere against the BJP, efforts are being made to remove the party’s block pramukhs from their posts.
A no-confidence motion should be brought for this. After the meeting, the MLA told that the CM has assured him that no no-confidence motion will be brought anywhere in the entire state. Among those who met the CM were Kaundhiyara block pramukh Indranath Mishra, former block pramukh of Manda Ashok Kumar Singh, block pramukh representative of Meja Ganga Prasad Mishra, Karchana’s block Kamlesh Dubey, Mukesh Kol, Anil Patel, Prem Kumar Singh Lalle.
These block pramukhs are facing danger
The blocks which are facing the danger of no-confidence motion after SP’s BDC members became block pramukhs, include Karchana, Chaka, Manda, Koraon, Meja and Kaundhiara blocks, which have joined BJP. The BDC members have already signed the no-confidence motion against many of these block pramukhs. These block pramukhs are making rounds of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister to save their seats.
