In Pirumdara of Ramnagar, a snake bit two children of the same family. One of them died while the other is seriously injured. According to the information received, Rahul, a resident of Panna (Madhya Pradesh), had come to Ramnagar only two weeks ago. Here he was staying in Pirumdara.
He told that on Wednesday night, he, his wife and three children were sleeping in the room. Meanwhile, at around 12 o’clock at night, son Dev (6) and daughter Nitya (4) started crying loudly. When they looked, there was a snake there and it had bitten both the children on their hands.
One died, the other is in critical condition
The family caught the snake and took it to the hospital. The children were referred from Ramnagar CHC to Haldwani CHC. On reaching Haldwani, the doctors declared daughter Nitya dead. Dev’s condition is said to be critical and he is admitted in the ICU.
