Uttarakhand: Disaster management meeting regarding monsoon preparations, US Nagar ADM summoned for not attending the meeting
A disaster management review meeting was held on Monday regarding preparations for the monsoon season. In the meeting, Vice President State Advisory Committee, Disaster Management Department Vinay Ruhela, along with Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority, directed all the districts to keep preparations tight regarding possible disasters during the monsoon season.
Summoned ADM of US Nagar for not attending the meeting
For not attending the meeting, he directed to seek clarification from the ADM of Udham Singh Nagar district. He directed the districts to keep adequate arrangements of doctors, medicines, pharmacists, ambulances.
Satellite phones should be tested regularly
USDMA Additional Chief Executive Officer Administration Anand Swaroop directed all the districts to regularly test satellite phones, so that there is no problem at the time of disaster.
The instructions given in the meeting should be implemented immediately
