SDM Paritosh Verma said that the problem of waterlogging is being resolved by getting the JCB drained. After the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the police, administration and SDRF team are on full alert. All the officers are keeping an eye on the situation.

Due to which there are problems in the operation of trains. Due to rain, 14 roads have been closed in Nainital district. Waterlogging has occurred in many areas of the city.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in some areas of Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat, Almora, Pithoragarh and Udham Singh Nagar districts. While an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain with lightning in some places in Dehradun, Pauri, Tehri and Haridwar districts.
