SDM Paritosh Verma said that the problem of waterlogging is being resolved by getting the JCB drained. Due to which there are problems in the operation of trains. Due to rain, 14 roads have been closed in Nainital district. Waterlogging has occurred in many areas of the city.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in some areas of Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat, Almora, Pithoragarh and Udham Singh Nagar districts. While an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain with lightning in some places in Dehradun, Pauri, Tehri and Haridwar districts.
