Maharashtra: Gun in hand, bouncer behind and threat to farmers… IAS Pooja Khedkar’s mother’s video goes viral
Trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar is constantly in controversies. Many types of allegations are being leveled against her, from misusing the OBC reservation quota to getting an IAS job. In such a situation, now an old video of Pooja’s mother is going viral on social media, in which she is seen threatening some people with a gun.
This video is from 2023, in which Pooja Khedkar’s mother Manorama Khedkar is threatening some people with a gun in her hand. Actually this matter is related to the attempt to capture the land of the farmers. It is alleged that she is threatening the farmer about the occupation of the land.
What is the matter?
It is said about Pooja Khedkar’s father Dilip Khedkar that he had amassed property worth crores of rupees during his government job. After this, he continuously bought land at many places. It is being said that the Khedkar family had bought 25 acres of land in Mulshi tehsil of Pune district. For this, he also tried to capture the lands of the surrounding farmers. This video is from that time.
But when the farmers protested against this, Khedkar’s mother Manorama Khedkar reached the spot with bouncers and threatened the farmers. During this, she had a gun in her hand, with which she was threatening the farmers.
However, when the farmers tried to file a complaint against her in a police station in Pune, their complaint could not be registered due to pressure.
The video of the mother threatening the media also went viral
Another video of the mother of Maharashtra cadre trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar went viral a few days ago. She attacked the media persons standing outside the house and making videos. Pooja Khedkar’s mother had said that if my daughter commits suicide, I will put you all in jail. She also threatened the media persons and also hit the camera.
According to the election affidavit, Pooja Khedkar’s parents have 110 acres of agricultural land, which violates the Agricultural Land Ceiling Act. Apart from this, there are six shops, seven flats (one in Hiranandani), 900 grams of gold, diamonds, a gold watch worth Rs 17 lakh, four cars. Along with this, there is a stake in two private companies and an automobile firm. Not only this, IAS Pooja Khedkar herself has assets worth Rs 17 crore.
Not only this, it has also come to light that Pooja Khedkar had claimed herself to be visually impaired and mentally ill in the affidavit submitted to UPSC. Khedkar used this disability certificate to get special concessions for selection in UPSC. Even after getting less marks in the Civil Services Examination, Pooja Khedkar passed the exam due to the concessions.
Transfer has been done from Pune to Washim district
IAS Pooja Khedkar has been transferred from Pune to Washim district. The Maharashtra government has transferred Khedkar due to complaints of misuse of power. Pune Collector Dr. Suhas Divase had written a letter to the Chief Secretary complaining about Pooja Khedkar. Now she has been appointed as Additional Assistant Collector of Washim district.
What demands did IAS Pooja make during probation?
During her probation in Pune, Pooja Khedkar had demanded many privileges which probationary officers do not get. During this time, Pooja Khedkar used her personal Audi car with red-blue lights and VIP number plate, put a board of ‘Maharashtra Government’ on her vehicle and demanded an official car, accommodation, an office room and additional staff. She even occupied the chamber of the Additional Collector in his absence. Dr. Khedkar’s father is a retired administrative officer, he allegedly pressured the District Collector’s office to meet Pooja’s demands. Not only this, he also threatened that if her demands were not met, then there would be consequences for it.
