As soon as the information was received, the City Magistrate, SDM and Tehsildar reached the spot with the police team. People living around the drain were rescued and sent to a safe place. A bike rider was swept away in the strong current of Devkhadi Nala. The youth is being searched, although the bike rider has not been found yet.

The Kathgodam police team evacuated the people living near Kalsia Nala from their homes and took them to Kathgodam Inter College for their safety. Where arrangements for their food and drink have also been made. Let us tell you that the police has evacuated all the nearby houses.
