Uttarakhand: Preparations to start e-Vidhan Sabha from winter session in November-December, civil works will be completed this month

Under the National e-Vidhan Application (NEVA) scheme, preparations are on to start e-Vidhan Sabha from the winter session to be held in November-December. Repair and renovation works are going on for e-Vidhan Sabha in Dehradun Vidhan Sabha Bhawan. Civil works will be completed by this month. After which work on IT system and IT system will be done.

All the MLAs and the employees of the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat will also be given training for software related information. The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has started the National e-Vidhan Application Scheme to convert the assemblies of all the states into e-Vidhan Sabha.

Monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha also

E-Vidhan Sabha has started in many states. But work is still going on in Uttarakhand. In the first phase, renovation work is being done in the main hall of the Vidhan Sabha, auditorium room, rooms of the Leader of Opposition and party leaders. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan has set a deadline to complete the civil work by July 31. The monsoon session of the upcoming Vidhan Sabha is also to be held.

Departmental officers were instructed to expedite the ongoing work to make e-Vidhan Sabha. Our effort is to implement e-Vidhan Sabha from the winter session. Before this, all the Vidhan Sabha members along with officers and employees will be given training. With the formation of e-Vidhan Sabha, all the work will be paperless.
